EL PASO- Airport officials announced the launch of free Wi-Fi today.
For now, Wi-Fi will only be available at the gates but eventually will be accessible throughout the airport. "Travelers and meeters and greeters, as you know come during this holiday season to the airport you can enjoy free Wi-Fi," said airport information specialist Liz Bellegarde.
The airport is surprisingly slow, but Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be extremely busy. Staff arrive at 5:30am throughout the week providing people with Ziploc for fluids and coloring books for children. "Everything is actually going very good, it's a little slow, we're gearing up but we expect Tuesday is gonna start getting very heavy and of course Wednesday is gonna be extremely heavy," said airport staff Assistant Director Jeff Shultes.
