EL PASO — El Paso Electric is adding a tool on its website to keep customers up to date on power outages.

A power outage map can now be found at www.epelectric.com.

During an outage, the affected areas will be highlighted in a certain color depending on how many customers are without power.

Customers can also get other information by scrolling on the colored circles on the map.
