El Paso Deputy witnesses soldier allegedly assaulting woman

Suspect allegedly threatens deputy
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — U.S. Army soldier, Jory Patterson, 25, was arrested and charged with family violence as well as an additional charge for making a terroristic threat against a public servant.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, a Deputy was on his way home from work at about 8:00 a.m. Sunday when he witnessed Patterson assaulting a woman on George Dieter near Montana Ave.
Investigators said Patterson and the woman were in a relationship and were arguing before the alleged assault.
The deputy intervened and arrested Patterson and that is when Patterson allegedly made several threatening statements.
