El Paso bridge-toll hike kicks in on Sunday
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Starting Sunday, January 26th, bridge tolls will increase by $0.50 to reduce border wait times during peak travel times.
The City of El Paso and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) signed a $1.5 million partnership to add more officers at the international ports of entry in El Paso, and open up more lanes at the bridges to reduce wait times.
El Paso will reimburse CBP through revenues from the bridge toll increase.
Pedestrian tolls will remain the same.
