EL PASO — A groundbreaking ceremony Thursday afternoon will commemorate the start of construction for Casitas Del Este Apartments, a complex builders call a "unique and luxurious place to call home."

Builders said the new market-rate apartments will accommodate the growing number of families in the area. They will feature 152 units of one, two and three bedroom homes with resort-style features.

Investment Builders, Inc. (IBI), a locally owned real estate investment, development and construction company, is working with First National Bank of Fabens and Rio Bravo Title to finance the project.
