El Paso - - Thousands of Head Start kids got a big treat today and just in time for Christmas.

The children heard a Christmas story at the coliseum written and performed by Head Start employees. The story centered on finding a dentist to fix santa's toothache before he had to deliver toys for Christmas.

3,800 kids sang alongside their favorite Christmas time characters including Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and Frosty the snowman.

The Rotary Club has sponsored the Head Start Christmas celebration for more than ten years. After the program, Rotarians handed out gifts and goodies to the children.
