A special plane was on-hand during Wednesday's celebration of air tractor's 3,000th plane in Olney, Texas.

That plane was the real life version of "Dusty," the lead character in Disney's soon-to-be-released animated movie "planes."

Several months ago air tractor officials said Disney's promotions department contacted them to help bring Dusty to life before the movie hits the silver screen.

Dusty will remain at air tractor for the next few days before it heads back to San Antonio.

"We helped them get an airplane, one of our customers in San Antonio, to do airshow promotions and paint his airplane like the real Dusty." said Kristin Edwards, vice president of Air Tractor.

As for the movie planes, it opens in theaters across the country on Friday.
