Dry law in effect in Juarez Sunday during election
Cd. Juarez, Mexico (KTSM) — Juarez residents will vote for a new mayor Sunday.
Chihuahua state officials have imposed a dry law that will be in effect until Monday.
Bars and clubs will not be able to serve alcohol throughout the state.
People in 67 cities in the state will head to the polls Sunday.
In Juarez, people will elect a new mayor. Two of the main candidates are Enrique Serrano from the PRI party, and Maria Antonieta Perez from the PAN party.
