Drunk driving dangers brought to life for students
EL PASO — Some local high school students got a first hand and up close look at the dangers of drunk driving today. Police and other emergency responders staged a drunk driving crash outside Burges High
School. It's all part of the Shattered Dreams Program which tries to make the dangers of drunk driving real for students. The crash scene drama played out through the school day. To highlight of the number of people killed in DWI accidents, a person dressed as the grim reaper also appeared at the school throughout the day to select a new victim.
