A drunk driver is headed to prison fter he killed two people with his car. Jurors today sentenced Eric Barajas to 12 years behind bars. The 36 year-old was convicted of two counts of intoxication manslaughter this weekend for the deaths of Angela Gonzalez and Orlando Figueroa. The pair was killed in 2009 when Barajas hit them outside a nightclub on Lee Trevino. His blood alcohol content was almost three times the legal limit. Aarajas was facing up to 40 years in prison. He'll be eligible for parole in six years.

I am hopefull that this sentence was handed down (I would of given him much more time in prison) and I hope that it helps the family of the 2 people that were killed as a result of this man's decision to drink and drive. I was toally disgusted with his defense attorneys when they tried to blame the victims instead of advising their client (the perpetuator) to accept responsibility for his actions.
