Competing For Jobs In A Tough Market

Dozens of employees were laid off without notice. Now, like many others they're job hunting. But who are they up against?

According to Workforce Solutions in El Paso County more than 21,000 people are unemployed. We've also learned that since September--at the time of the financial crisis--the state has record of more than 500 jobs lost in El Paso County.

But contrary to what most may think, Workforce Solutions reports there are actually more jobs available than people getting laid off.
