Downtown Street Festival

The ninth annual KLAQ Downtown Street Festival kicks off tonight at 6 p.m.

We were there as crews worked to set up on Santa Fe, Main and San Francisco. They are now filled with four stages and dozens of vendor booths for food drinks and entertainment.

Around 30,000 people are expected to attend the two day party which lasts until 1 a.m. each night.

Tickets are $15 in advance for adults and $5 for kids, and they recommend you buy early because tickets are $25 at the door.

What a rip off, $25.00 entrance, no senior, military or childrens discount, and they are not set up to pay with a debit card at all. Looks like another El Paso folly, when are we going to operate like the big city we are?
