Downtown Motorcycle Accident

Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

Police were called out to the scene of a motorcycle accident on I-10 West near the Downtown exit around 1 o'clock this morning. When they arrived, they found a man with serious injuries; he was transported to Thomason Hospital. I-10 was closed in both directions at the Downtown exit for nearly six hours while Special Traffic Investigators conducted their investigation. At this point, it's unknown whether speed or alcohol contributed to this crash.
