Kids with certain types of dental fillings may be more likely to have psychological problems, that coming from researchers at Harvard Medical School.

Researchers found children who got tooth-colored fillings made with BPA, which is a very controversial chemical, had higher rates of anxiety, depression and social stress compared to kids with fillings made from metal or other materials.

The authors caution their results don't prove BPA causes any behavioral changes. According to the National Institutes of Health, tooth decay is the most common chronic disease for children in the United States and more than half the kids in America will have cavities by the time they are in second grade.
