Second train vs. car collision in 2 days

UPDATE:

According to family members on the scene, the woman driving the car was in her 50's.  Relatives said she did not see or hear the train coming when she drove over the tracks.  They said the railroad crossing arms went down in front of her.

She reportedly tried to drive in reverse to get off the tracks, but relatives said the crossing arms then went down behind her car.

The woman jumped out of the car before the train crashed into her car.

She was not injured.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Emergency crews are on the scene of a collision involving a train and a car.

The crash happened at 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Clark Dr. and El Paso Dr. in South Central El Paso.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, no one was taken to the hospital.

It is unclear how the driver ended up on the train tracks.

This is the second train accident in two days.
