Del Valle High School delays start of school
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — A broke water pipe delayed the start of classes at Del Valle High School this morning.
Yseta Independent School District officials said due to the end of course testing this week, 11th and 12 graders were already scheduled for a late start but 9th and 10th graders were also delayed until 10am.
YISD officials said they will be able to push back the exams a day if they need to because of the late start.
Tthe school also received approval from the college board to delay AP testing until May 23rd.
Parents and students were notified of the late-start via district's automated phone message system.
