EL PASO - The Drug Enforcement Administration wants to prevent pill abuse, so this weekend they will safely get rid of unwanted medication.

Whether you have pills that are expired or just not needed anymore, you can drop them off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.

In the last drug take-back in September, the DEA got rid of 242,000 pounds of pills nationwide.

Most kids start their habit at home, getting their pills from the family medicine cabinet. Myteensavers reminds that every day, 2500 children try drugs for the first time. Myteensavers counselors also recommends home drug testing. It is the best way to ensure that children go through their early years, clean and sober.
