The Dallas Police Department is in El Paso looking to fill 400 positions. Recruiters are conducting on-site testing this weekend for interested applicants to apply. Job seekers that meet the minimum requirements must be ready to take a physical fitness exam, civil service test and meet before an interview board.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• United states citizen with a valid driver's license.
• Age 21 + 45 college credit hours w/ 2.0 gpa.
• Age 19 1/2 + 60 college credit hours w/ 2.0 gpa.
• No felony or class a misdemeanor convictions.
• No class b misdemeanors convictions in 10 years.
• No class c misdemeanors convictions in 12 months.
• Eye sight not worse than 20/100 and correctable to 20/20.
• No pending traffic tickets or court cases.
• Not more than 3 hazardous traffic convictions in the last 2 years.
• Military personnel ** college hours waived for 3 years-active military -honorable discharge w/ dd-214 **
• Prior law enforcement ** college hours waived for 3 years experience **
