Street corners are where you usually find panhandlers, but technology has given birth to a new way to ask for help.
It's called cyber begging.
Thousands of people are turning to it for a little extra help this holiday season.
Internet panhandling has become sort of a national phenonmenon.
All people have to do is log onto a website, write a quick note about their money troubles, then ask and wait for donations.
