Three arrested in separate DWI incidents Wednesday morning
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Three men were arrested early Wednesday morning by El Paso Police following three separate incidents, two car accidents and a speeding violation.
Miles Jacques, 26
DWI, BAC = >.15
The first incident happened in Central El Paso at approximately 12:49 a.m. when police say 26-year-old Miles Jacques lost control of his 1996 Honda Prelude as he was making a turn onto N. Kansas from Schuster St. EPPD say Jacques lost control of his Honda and crashed into a parked car. He was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a blood alcohol contest above .15. His bond was set at $1,000.00.
Alejandro Estrada-Arias, 28
DWI, BAC = >.15
The second arrest made by EPPD was at approximately 2:10 a.m. on I-10 West around mile marker 28. An officer assigned to the DWI task force pulled over 28-year-old- Alejandro Estrada-Arias of Juarez, driving 80 MPH in a 60 MPH zone. Estrada-Arias was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop and was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI with a blood alcohol level above .15. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail and his bond was set at $750.00.
Rosendo Rivero, 42
The third and final arrest of the evening occurred at approximately 2:22 a.m. near Joe Battle and Montana. Officers arrived on the scene of a traffic collision and discovered 42-year-old Rosendo Rivero had crashed his yellow 1998 Ford Mustang into the raised median. Officers on the scene allege that Rivero was intoxicated and placed him under arrest and charged him with DWI. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a Bond of $1,000.00.
