Suspected DWI driver arrested after fleeing accident scene
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — El Paso Police Officers from the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center arrested and charged 40-year-old Micheloe Jay Flores early Tuesday morning after he allegedly rear-ended a car and attempted to run, all while intoxicated.
EPPD were called to a dead-end near Van Gogh and Hal Marcus where they found Flores sitting inside of his white 1999 Mazda 626. A second person at the scene said that Flores had rear-ended their black Ford Mustang at the intersection of Vista Del Sol and Pullman and fled the scene.
The driver of the Mustang followed Flores to the location on Hal Marcus Place, which was near Flores' home. Responding Officers determined Flores was intoxicated and he was arrested and charged with DWI with a BAC >=0.15. Flores' bond was set at $1,000.
