Neighbors living near the Far East El Paso home at the center of a murder investigation say those living at the house are no strangers to throwing parties.

Police said 19-year-old Julian Galvan was stabbed to death early Sunday morning following an altercation at a party at the home on the 3400 block of Tierra Cobre, off Edgemere.

A second teen, 16-year-old Adriana Villegas, was also stabbed and remains in critical condition, according to investigators.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

“Ever since they’ve moved in, its been nothing but trouble,” said a neighbor about the men renting the home.

“They have parties all the time and we see underage kids going in and out,” she told NewsChannel 9 Monday.

Police have not confirmed whether there was underage drinking at Sunday morning’s party.

However, Sunday afternoon, a teen that was at the gathering speculated that whoever began the fight was most likely intoxicated.

“They must have been drunk,” he said.

Neighbors also said they saw beer cans outside the home.

According to the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission, state law "holds parents/adults civilly liable for damages caused by the intoxication of a minor younger than 18 if they knowingly provided alcohol or allowed alcohol to be served on property owned or leased by them.”

The TABC website also states that adults who provide alcohol to those under 21 could face a fine up to $4,000 and/or up to one year in jail.

No one answered the door at the home on Tierra Cobre when NewsChannel 9 visited Monday. Minutes later, however, someone exited the house and drove away.
