Naked man reported at Chaparral Park, Sheriff's ask for help identifying him
Chaparral, NM (KTSM) — Dona Ana County Sheriff's Deputies are asking the community to be vigilant in light of recent reports of a naked man being spotted at a Chaparral park.
The man was last seen at Delores Wright Park, 400 E. Lisa Dr, on Wednesday. Witnesses reported seeing a man parking his silver, two-door car by the park's baseball field where he got out wearing nothing but shoes.The witness who initially contacted DACSO reported that the man was ducking in and out of shrubbery at the park.
Deputies have been unable to identify the man and are now asking the public for help.
If the individual is seen again, or if anyone can safely obtain license plate information from the car he reportedly drives, please call central dispatch.
“With school out for summer, we need to be extra vigilant for the children in that community,” said Capt. Craig Buckingham of the sheriff’s Anthony Area Command. “Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.”
