Man charged with possession of child porn after leaving USB in public library

Rodolfo Sanchez, 43, of south El Paso was arrested Friday by El Paso Police after he allegedly left a USB drive containing sexually explicit videos of young girls in a computer at the Armijo Public Library on E. Seventh street in South El Paso.

EPPD were called to the public library by employees after they found a USB drive that had been left in a computer. As they employees were trying to identify who the owner of the USB drive was, they found some disturbing material and immediately called police.

When officers arrived on the scene, they were able to locate the owner of the USB drive who was later identified as Sanchez. Inspection of the USB drive revealed that two videos of young girls approximately 3-4 years old engaging in sex acts with adult males.

Police do not believe that Sanchez was involved in filming these images and believe the pornography was obtained online where it was being traded.

Sanchez was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography. His bonds totaled $140,000.
