In the six years since 72-year-old James Francis Wilson was found brutally bludgeoned to death inside his own home, Las Cruces law enforcement officials have failed to bring his murderer to justice. Now, they are asking the community for help once again.

James Wilson, who was described as an elderly, disabled man who lived alone was found murdered inside his home at 1800 Camino del Rex. The quiet neighborhood was shocked by Wilson's brutal murder and they've been asking for justice for Wilson ever since.

Wilson's body was discovered March 11, 2008 by a friend. Investigators believe that Wilson may have been killed March 10 or 11, 2008.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers has purchased space on a billboard depicting this and other crimes. The billboard is on Lohman Avenue near the Arroyo Plaza in Las Cruces.
