Hit and run driver crashes into parked car, leaving license place behind
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — El Paso Police Officers responded to a report of a hit and run crash in the 7900 block of Porche just after midnight Tuesday morning.
During the investigation, officers determined that a blue 2001 Honda had struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene. Officers were able to determine the owner of the Honda, because the license plate was left at the scene of the crash.
EPPD Officers were able to locate a 2001 blue Honda which was missing its front plate in the 7800 block of Porche driven by 47-year-old Gilbert Ramirez. Ramirez was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content above .15.
Ramirez was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $1,000.
