EPPD arrest man who allegedly shot at police
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — El Paso Police arrested a 22-year-old man at a west El Paso restaurant Monday afternoon in connection with a shots fired call early Sunday morning in an Upper Valley Neighborhood.
Police responded to the shots fired call just after 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning. When they arrived they identified Eduardo Soto, 22, as the man who was shooting rounds. When they arrived on scene, Soto allegedly shot at police officers and fled the scene.
Soto was located Monday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. at the Aloha Hawaiian Barbeque, located at 504 N. Desert by plain clothes officers without incident.
Soto was taken into custody and transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility. EPPD will release Soto's mug shot at the completion of the formal booking process.
