The El Paso County Sheriff's Office need the community's assistance identifying a man who allegedly stole a woman's purse from a San Elizario restaurant and went on to use her debit card.

EPCSO say that the victim, who was an employee at the El Bandido Restaurant located at 1591 Main St. in San Elizario, placed her purse behind the counter and went to work back on July 19th of 2013. During the time the woman was working, a man went behind the counter and stole the purse and then used her stolen debit card.

The suspect in the case was captured on surveillance video. The man is described as Hispanic, with a goatee, short dark hair and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a green pop style shirt and blue denim short pants.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566- TIPS (8477).
