An El Paso man acquitted of murder will learn his fate by Friday. Last Friday, 21-year-old Miguel Tinoco was found not guilty of murder but found guilty of four counts of aggravated assault. Tinoco rammed his car into a crowd of people outside a Lower Valley house party in 2012. 23-year-old Miriam Aguirre was killed and four young men were injured.

The jury couldn't' reach a verdict on the lesser charge of 'criminally negligent homicide.' Tinoco faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the four aggravated assault charges. Judge Luis Aguilar, not the jury, will hand down the punishment. He will interview witnesses, first responders and Tinoco before reaching a decision.

Once the interviews are done he as two days to make his ruling.
