Domestic disturbance call leads to discovery of meth

An El Paso man was arrested after El Paso Police Department Officers found 6.2 grams of Methamphetamine in his pants during a domestic disturbance call early Saturday morning.

Officers with the Northeast Regional Command Center arrested 31-year-old Jorge Reza after they were called to a family disturbance in the 10900 block of Casey Stengal around 2:10 a.m. Saturday morning.

When EPPD arrived on the scene, they found Reza had five outstanding traffic warrants and was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrants. While officers were placing Reza under arrest, they found 6.2 grams of Meth in his front pants pocket.

Reza was booked into the El Paso County Jail for five outstanding traffic warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) Over 1 gram and under 4 grams. His bonds totaled $15,000.
