Crime Stoppers seeks assistance identifying Kohl's thief

El Paso Crime Stoppers is asking for the community's assistance identifying a man who allegedly stole several items out of the Kohl's store at Bassett Place in February.

Police say that the man walked into the Kohl's at Bassett place just before 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20th and was seen on surveillance taking eight pairs of women's Levi brand jeans and walking out of the store.

Kohl's loss prevention employees attempted to stop the man, but were unsuccessful. He was last seen getting into a grey colored Infinity 4-door sedan with a sunroof.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his mid-20s, 5 ft 8 inches tall weighing approximately 180 lbs. He had tattoos on his neck and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a 'Spurs' logo, a black t-shirt with a design on the front of a hundred dollar bill and a crown design on the back with a gray hoodie under the shirt. He was also wearing dark jeans and white tennis shoes. 

Anyone with any information on the identity of the man captured on surveillance video involved in this theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at 566-8477(TIPS), on-line at or you can send a text message by entering the key word “CRIME1” (no space and include the quotation marks) plus your tip information, and text it to CRIMES (274637). You will remain anonymous and, if your tip leads to an arrest, you can qualify for a cash reward.
