The Amber Alert issued for a child out of Eagle Pass, Texas, was discontinued Thursday night after she was found safe in the Lufkin area.

An alert was sent out at around 4:00 p.m. Thursday when it became clear 2-year-old Yaretzi Rodriguez-Ayala had disappeared and was thought to be in grave danger.

According to the Lufkin Police Department, the child was recovered in the Lufkin area by several different law enforcement agencies working together. The alert was discontinued at 9 p.m.

The state listed two people as possible suspects, Rolando Herrera, 34, and Rosa Herrera, 29. It is unclear if they were responsible for the child's abduction. However, two people are being questioned by authorities, according to the Dallas Morning News
