$1,000 reward offered in Las Cruces armed robbery case

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps them identify a man who pulled off a daring armed robbery Sunday morning.

LCPD responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Pic Quick store at 1770 S. Telshor Blvd. just after 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning. When they arrived, they learned that two masked men had just robbed the store at gunpoint and demanded cash from the store clerk.

The two men fled the store on foot, heading north on Telshor with an undisclosed amount of cash. Luckily, no store clerk was injured in the incident, but the police are now actively trying to solve the case.

Both men were described as Hispanic. The man with the gun was wearing a short-sleeve, button-up, plaid shirt and khaki pants. The second man acted as a lookout and was wearing a dark-colored shirt and khaki pants and black shoes.
