On Dec. 24 2003, 44-year-old Fernando Martinez was found murdered inside his business. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit have been asking for the public’s assistance in bringing this case to a close.
The investigation suggests that the murder happened around noon on Christmas Eve 2003 in Northeast El Paso when an unknown suspect, or suspects, entered Martinez’s business at 4496 Titanic and fatally shot him in the upper torso.
Martinez was originally from Artesia, New Mexico, and left behind a 4-year old child.
