Crime of the Week: Family Attacked at Gas Station

A family on the way to a quinceanera stopped for gasoline and, while there, had their vehicle attacked by two suspects, making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.” 

According to the police report, the father of the family was pumping gas at a Diamond Shamrock on Doniphan when he saw his son run out of the station store yelling. The boy was being followed by a suspect with a knife in his hand. The son got into the car and the father tried to drive off as the suspect attempted to slash the vehicle’s tire and then stabbed at the vehicle hood. At the same time, another suspect punched at the passenger side door. The family was able to escape. 

One suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5’9”, with a thin build, shaved head, white t-shirt and brown shorts, and tattooed “sleeves” on his arms. The second suspect, also Hispanic, was 6’ tall, heavy build, shaved head, in brown nursing scrubs with tattooed “sleeves” on his arms.
