El Paso — An unknown subject broke into a family’s vehicle parked in front of their home on Kernel Circle and, by the time they discovered it, their credit cards had already been used at local businesses without their permission, police said. The suspect stole several items including a cell phone and a credit card. That same day, the credit card was used to make purchases at five different stores on the eastside; and two more stores the next day, according to the report. The suspect was shown on surveillance video at one of the stores. He is described as black or Hispanic man in his 20’s, medium height and build, with close-cropped hair, a trimmed full beard and goatee. He also appeared to have band aids on his nose and face, and a black eye. He was wearing a grey t-shirt.
