F.B.I. SEEKS SUSPECT
IN BANK ROBBERY
A man with a handgun walks up to a downtown bank teller and demands money, making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Tuesday, March 15th, 2012, approximately 12:45 P.M., the suspect entered First Savings Bank at 1701 Saul Kleinfeld and handed the teller a note demanding money and stating that he had a weapon. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who fled the bank on foot and was last seen headed into a nearby neighborhood.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, 5’6” tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a brown or tan long-sleeve shirt, a dark t-shirt, and dark sunglasses. He had a cropped haircut and a black mustache.
