POLICE SEEK SUSPECT
IN LATEST BANK ROBBERY
El Paso, Texas--
A man with a black handgun robs a local credit union, making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Friday, May 21st, about 3:30 in the afternoon, a man walked into the El Paso Employees Credit Union located at 9305 North Loop. The man was wearing a surgical mask over his face and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun when he approached a teller and demanded money. At the same time he handed over a grocery bag to put the money in. The teller feared for his life and handed over an undetermined amount of money. The suspect then fled on foot, and was last seen running east on North Loop.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his early 30’s, approximately 5’9” with a medium build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with the U.S. flag on front, clear safety style glasses, white surgical mask, and a grey hooded sweatshirt turned inside out. He had on tan colored gloves, blue jeans, and dark tennis shoes with white lines.
