Crews Work Overnight To Repair Gas Leak

EL PASO — Texas Gas crews worked through the night to shut off a gas leak in Northeast El Paso.
According to emergency dispatchers, a construction crew hit a gas line on Dyer and Broaddus shortly before 11:00 p.m. Sunday.
Crews were digging throughout the night to repair the leak.
No homes or businesses were affected.
The El Paso Police and Fire Departments were called in as a precaution. The Red Cross was also on the scene to provide assistance.
The leak was repaired about four hours later.
The area is now clear.
