EL PASO, TX — Construction crews closed I-10 near downtown El Paso on Sunday.

The westbound lanes on I-10 were closed between Porfirio Diaz and just west of Schuster.

It closed at 5 a.m. and reopened at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Crews were re-striping the lanes, installing lane control signals and overhead signs.

Traffic was being forced to exit at Porfirio Diaz.
