Fire crews have finally put out the flames that filled the sky in Horizon City on Saturday afternoon.
Just after 3:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a pellet business called Yuma Pellets that was fully engulfed.
Thankfully there are no injuries to report.  Witnesses say they saw a spark, and seconds later a truck loaded with wooden pellets went up in flames.

"I saw a big black cloud of smoke that came out of the house right there. I was wondering what is was about, so I moved closer over here. The next thing you know, I see big old flames everywhere,” said neighbor Sergio Rodriguez.

Black smoke from the fire could be seen as far away as Cielo Vista Mall.
Law enforcement says all two acres are a complete loss, and the strong winds made it tougher to control the flames.
"Winds as we see them now, of course it does not help with containing the fire. So, it definitely contributed to the fire spreading,” said Angelica Becerra with The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses say they were shocked to see how strong the fire became.
"As soon as you pass the stop sign, that's when you start feeling the heat. It's real bad. The propane started popping. It was like a big old boom,” said neighbor Ruth Nevarez.

“I saw the smoke from far away and the flames were high. They were big. The tired burning or the pellets burning. We've been here for a while,” said witness Oscar Martinez.
Fire crews had to fill water tanks a mile away because the neighborhood doesn't have an fire hydrants. That's something neighbors say needs to change.
"You have to waste five minutes of time for each truck to fill up and to come over and unload it with water. That's ridiculous. They need to hurry up and put the water here so this won't happen,” said Nevarez.
Officials have not determined what caused the fire, but neighbors tell us the owner of Yuma Pellets does have fire insurance.
