EL PASO – Police have cleared a crash that created a traffic nightmare for commuters on the interstate.

A witness said a car hydroplaned on the wet pavement, skidded across three lanes of traffic and slammed into the divider in the westbound lanes around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Three other vehicles are reported to have been involved in the crash.

No word if there were any serious injuries. Traffic backed up to Zaragoza.

It took emergency crews about 2 hours to clean up the mess.
