New battles are flaring up over El Paso's controversial stormwater fee. This time, it's El Paso County who says it shouldn't have to pay
The issue came up during Monday morning's County Commission meeting. The county has already paid more than $36,000 dollars since March to the PSB.
By the end of the year more than 52,000 dollars will be collected in stormwater fees.
Monday, Commissioners voted unanimously to draft a resolution that they will take as part of their legislative agenda in Austin.
That letter, will request that the state make the County of El Paso exempt from the fee.
