EL PASO — Monday, County Commissioners will propose an increase in property taxes of almost $.05 for every $100 value of a home. In 2012, the tax rate was $.36 cents per $100 and now they are proposing it be $.41 cents per $100.

And the El Paso County Hospital District may also be paying more on their property taxes. County Commissioners will propose they pay $.19 cents more per $100 valuation.
