County Commissioners to Discuss Regulating Sexually Oriented Businesses
EL PASO — El Paso County Commissioners have a busy Monday morning ahead of them. They're expected discuss funding services for people with mental illnesses, and may also expand oversight of the county hospital districts. Another item on the agenda is to possibly extend regulation of sexually oriented businesses to unincorporated areas of El Paso County. Those changes could require employees of those businesses to hold a license to work there, and prevent those businesses from being within 1,000 feet of each other. Commissioner Dan Haggerty is also up for re-appointment to the county purchasing board beginning January 1st.
