Adkins to headline show at Biggs Park

Fort Bliss officials announced Tuesday that Grammy-nominated country singer Trace Adkins will be performing at the post on October 5th.

The concert, sponsored by  MKC Entertainment, 96.3 KHEY Country, and Fort Bliss Family and MWR, will also feature Texas native Aaron Watson and the BQ Girls, a trio featuring Miss USA 2005 Chelsea Cooley.

Lora Diem, community activities coordinator for Fort Bliss Family & MWR says “Trace Adkins is such a big name, and we’re excited to have him join us on the installation,” she said. “We don’t
often get the chance to bring in such a huge country artist. It’s going to be a great opportunity for our Soldier and family members, and the surrounding community.”

Officials say that general admission tickets will cost $30, however there will be discounts available for military ID card holders and DoD/DA civilians, with valid ID.


WHEN: Saturday, October 5. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at either ITR location on Fort Bliss: the Soldier Activity Center at 20732 Constitution Ave. on East Fort Bliss, or the ITR kiosk at Freedom Crossing.
