LAS CRUCES - A jury for Michael Astorga's second murder trial found him guilty of second-degree murder Wednesday.

The jury returned with the verdict after eight hours of deliberation.

Astorga was convicted for the 2005 murder of Candido Martinez, 27, of Albuquerque.

The trial was originally set in Albuquerque, but was moved to Las Cruces.
