EL PASO, TX — A house fire in Far East El Paso may have started in the laundry room.
It happened around 7:30 this morning on Joe Porter. A smoke detector warned two people inside who got out safely. More than 20 firefighters put out the flames and rescued a couple of dogs. Investigators say a bad motor in the clothes dryer caused the fire. Only a hallway and the laundry room are damaged.
