Clint man tased after running from deputy
El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies said they were forced to tase a man after he didn't listen to them.
Deputies said just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Mariano Macias, 18 failed to use his turn signal and was acting suspicious. Deputies said Macias stopped, but then ran off and a deputy followed. Once Macias hit a dead end the deputy said Macias approached the deputy, so he tased him and arrested him. He’s charged with evading arrest.
