The ongoing drought that has caused major devastation across this country isn't showing any signs of ending. A report out from the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center says the drought will likely continue across most of this country through the end of April.

The drought is expected to ease some along the Northern and Eastern edges of the U.S. It appears it won't let up any time soon in Texas or Southern New Mexico.

According to the report, above average temperatures are expected over the next couple of months in our region. The drought may rival Hurricane Sandy as the most costly U.S. natural disaster of 2012, with damage estimates already ranging between $75 and $150 billion.
